I need new headlight housings

Yeah, for some odd reason, my headlights are kinda scratched/frosted looking. I guess they have just seen a lot of wear. Anyways, I wouldnt mind getting new ones, so they are clear again. How much would I be looking at to get them? Also, is there any way to just fix the problem? Thanks!

Auto parts store will charge you around $25 per light. If stock lighting is all you crave, then this is the route to take. If you are looking for more than that, do a search, there are plenty of guys who have traveled the roads less traveled when it comes to the headlights.

have you tried ******* aluminum polish? its like a little red can. i used some of it on mine and it cleared it up. the only thing is the factory headlight that they sell comes as a whole. not just the lense or a screw on the back, the whole thing. mine broke and the dealership here charged me about 251.00 dollars for the light housing. pretty expensive.

I would take them apart and clean them.
RENE was talking about the '97- 4th gen. lights.

You can search for "Whistler Headlihgt Mod" and similar to find a guide posted on how to take them apart, etc.

Once apart though, just use some polishes of your choice until they are clear again. Many guys have had this same problem with the '98+ style lights, so you may want to look around in this section or the Show and Shine sect.
