has anyone tried to install a mirror with the temperature screen in their camaro that they got out of a suburban or something. i was thinking it would be something nice and every camaro wouldnt have it. would it be too dificult and were is the thermometer?

 

They have universal kits from JCWhitney but they are like 500-700 a kit!

 

If you could find a junked car with that mirror setup, you could take out the parts. I don't think it would be hard to do. Basically all it is is a wire hooked up from the mirror to a sensor outside the car and it tells the temp. It seems pretty basic to me but I don't know for sure, or how the compass works.
