i need help shipping door panels

ok i bought some formula door panels online. and the guy went to find out shipping today from VA to illinois is was 160.00$. but i ahve seen the shipping charges and what not on ebay for like 25 dollars. so how should he go about shipping these? how much do they weigh? and what should he use UPS, fed ex, USPS for best rate? any help would be awesome, i really need these panels.

what's he trying to do, ship the them "truck freight" with concrete blocks as packing??
fedex all the way!
should on be like $30 to $40 max. for shipping, and $40 is really high.
have him ship them in a used bicycle box, and wrap each doorpanel by itself and put both of the panels in one box.

well is he sending the whole door shell or the door skin. the door skin i would imagine to be no more than 50 at the most but the door shell probally weighs aroud 60lb and is quite bulky still 160 seems expensive but that might be about right. sometime shipping can get pretty expensive.
