I hate to beat a dead horse, but...

...did anyone ever find out a definate way of purchasing a BSM kit from Japan?!?

I have not posted on this site for a few years(too busy getting married, having kids, etc...) and have not really done anything to my Camaro for a while.

Sadly, I wrecked the other day (don't get me started about the lady locking up in front of me to miss a squirrel) and tore up the bumper cover and hood.
I need to get back into looking for noses and hoods and the BSM nose was the first thing I thought of.

Anything new I may have missed, or are the kits available now the same ones that were available 5-6 years ago?!?

I'm also thinking that if I'm ever going to get a Sport Back the time is now. Looks like they are still available from RK Sport. Has anyone checked lately?

Looked around the boards a little before I posted, made me realize I kinda missed this place!!

Makes it look like a GTO instead of a Camaro

Same discussion back then- you loved them or hated them. I had kind of forgotten about them until this happened. I did save a bunch of images back then though. Same with the sport back, I have a bunch of images saved and I still like them on the right car. I have never researched how they fit or anything. Just thinking this may be a good time to do something different to the car instead of just putting back everything like it was.

Here is the outcome of the squirrel incident:

I'm sure there is a supplier in California that could get it for you....... Might try calling/e-mailing some of the aftermarket import car part shops....

Might look here.... http://www.topspeed.gr.jp/index2/index2.htm

I stop for squirrels too, but that sucks that that happened.

I've never tried to find that kit, so I don't know where you can get it. I just know it comes from Japan.

While the nose definitely has the Pontiac look, I think it isn't too bad. The cars you posted look very clean (washed/waxed), which helps the overall look. I don't particulary care for the side mouldings, but best of luck in your search.

Axeman, sorry about the wreck. I stumbled upon this thread and couldn't help but post my dash cam video of a similar event. FYI, I don't stop.
