I gots me a stupid idea!

OK, I have a 97 z28 and absolutely hate the headlights on it. I really like the way the 98+ headlights look but I don't much care for the front end on the 98+ because to be frank they remind me of Sebrings.

So, I got to thinking, "maybe I could cut away the hood above the headlights!" Well, I may have dumb ideas but I'm not dumb enough do do something like this without researching. so my question is this: What have you guys done to improve the crappy headlights on our 93-97 camaros?

I think someone might be developing a clear insert that contains 2 lights that fills in the headlight pocket. Something similar to how the c6's headlights are, but that fits our car.

Have you taken into consideration that the main reason LS1 camaros look like a Chrysler is the headlights?

blackbirdta: I bought the car because it is a high performance convertible that is inexpensive. I would have rather had a trans am but it was not feasible on our budget.

6speed: That would be nice, any links?

Roadrage: Actually what makes me think of them is the bumps behind the lights and the actual nose itself. It's just too bloody round and organic looking.

Buy some blackouts to cover that gap, it looks sharp and you will not have to do all that butchering.
