I dont get it...STUPID SS Spoiler =)

Hey guys,

I have a 98+ SS Wing and i had the ABS INOP problem like every else...

(Its mostly my fault....)
But when i bought the wing, i never hooked up the third brake light wiring to the Wing...cause i just figured that the ABS light was gonna be on anyways...

Sooooooo...today i bought a 12 volt relay and some female connectors b/c i found an easy write up that i had like a year ago on how to fix the ANS INOP problem.

As i open up both packages, i hook up the third brake light wiring from the wing to the wiring from the car and......
the stupid light went off. I just wasted money b/c i was an idiot

Anyone not fixed thier problem and want to buy the relay and connectors off me? I'll sell it cheap! Can i do anything else with the relay?

Anyways, has anyone in a 94 put on a 98+ SS wing , have the same thing happen, where u just hooked it all up and it worked perfectly??

Wow that's strange ! I just figured I'd try it out and wired my 96 Z straight up on the original install and my light has NEVER come on. I just ASSUMED it was because of the OBDII computer in the 96 cars but your OBDI series 94 blows that theory to hell!!! I've helped a couple other guys with 94/95 cars with the relay wiring deal you have since their light wouldn't go out until the relay was added. ???????

Mach5 - you just had to be negative didn't you...

When I put my SS spoiler on (it will be a '94 also) I plan on doing a better write up than what anyone else has ever done. I don't know how long that will be now, but sometime before long hopefully.

What amperage is the relay you bought? There are a couple of things you could do with it, if interested.

Umm how was I being negative?

I figured I would let him know to try and turn on the 4way flashers to see if the light comes back on, before he gets rid of the relay.

He posted asking if this had happened to anyone else and I responded.

Red face

He was being sarcastic in a friendly way. I doubt he really thought you were being negative. **Notice how earlier in the post he 'joked' with AW/whiteZ-28 about jinx'in him?**
