40 series? why not 80? 40 is way to tame I think. Meineke will problably charge you to much and wait way to long for a 15 minute job.

This should be in LT1 Tech, but I'll give you some pointers

What are the inlet and outlet sizes? Try to get them to use a 3 inch pipe for you tailpipes, and you MUST tell them that. I just assumed, so now I have 2.25 inch tailpipes! Of course if I went back, the bastards would've charged me extra to fix it, and for a V6 like mine I just said "Screw it!"

With a 40 series, you will only have one tailpipe. The 80 series is what gives you the dual outlets. If you decide to return your 40 series and get an 80, make sure you tell them where you want your tailpipes to exit under. The guy I had put them WAY to close to each other, not spaced out enough. "I've always loved the way tips looked when they are closer." He said. That's nice, but It's MY CAR!!!

Good luck on your install. I'd recommend the 80 series, just because the symetry of a dual exhaust looks better than just one tip underneath, IMO.
