What size bulbs are needed for the HVAC control lighting on 93-96 Camaro? Are they the same 194's used in the instrument cluster? I would like to use colored bulbs if possible. Thanks.

 

They are the same size as the ones that illuminate the door locks

 

Not 194's, and not available in colors.

You can replace them though - pretty easy too - just a pain to get the old bulb out of the socket. (Hint: Use some duct tape).

They are and bulb with the "_7" number - the "_" usually a 6 or 9 or something. Any will work, and I think it is the higher the number, the more wattage. Available anywhere automotive lights are sold.

 

Would LED's fit right in?

See this current thread. It tells all about LED's - and it seems that there may be a possibility there for some direct replacement led's - but not just a regular 3mm will fit in without modification - see that thread.
