The turn signals have to be taken out from the underside of the car. Remove the black panels under the nose and look up. You'll know what to do from there. For the headlights, you just take the screws out of the black metal retainer rings. The lights themselves aren't held in with anything other than that. This is for LT-1 cars...I don't know about LS-1's.

Yep what shock said, but you better have some long skinny arms getting those turn signals out...my recommendation to you would be to buy a Haynes repair manual-definitely worth the $17....they are really helpful just don't trust all the tq specs they give you. Take your time and don't force anything

LS1s have bolts that hold the headlights in, and you go in from the top to get the turn signals out. I can go into more indepth information when my halos and smoked corners come.

It might help by listing the year of your car, and what kind of car it is.

Those "screws" have a torx head on them.... just fyi... don't go out there with a screwdriver.....

The bolts to remove the black panels are 10mm and the bolts that hold the turn signals on are 7 mm....

I can't remember the torx bit size though...
