how to set needles on cluster?

I changed cluster overlays, and i just put the needles back on in the down position. when i start the car they are all screwed up. I dont want to take a chance with a messed up temp gauge, beccause i just change dmy head gaskets.
Thanks chad

I'm not sure exactly how you would realign the needles. What I would do is try hooking my laptop to the PCM to read off all the data for rpm's, temp, and mph, and keep playing around with the needles until they match the PCM's data. Not sure about the fuel gauge though. Someone please respond, as I would also like to know how a shop/dealer would go about fixing this.
