I want to clean up the engine bay a little. I was thinking about polishing my intake elbow(vortech satin) and just polishing the top on the intake manifold and the fuel rails while its in the car. Is this possible? What would i need to use as far as sand paper and what not.

There's information on metals polishing, with quite a few links in the FAQ "stickied" at the top of the Wheels and Tires forum:

Did anyone archive Todd2001SS's guide? Seems like his site is down.
