Tip #1: Don't even try.
Tip #2: See Tip #1.
Tip #3: Seriously.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the side windows have enough curve on the F-Bodys to make them a medium skilled job. The rear window will require an EXPERT.

www.tintdude.com for tips if you're still set on doing it yourself.

haha, the one thing I've learned about tint is that you should leave it up to the pros. Some people get away with it, but I'm certainly not one of them, I think it's more trouble than it's worth, going to a shop isn't even that expensive either

yeah i agree with this...i took it to this tint person who ive taken my moms/dads car and my last car to and hes great and even he had trouble with the back window, its not easy at all. He actually ended up tearing the tint trying to get it on the back window the first time and so he had to start all over, its something to do with how the rear window is curved or something. So yeah if someone that tints thousands of windows had trouble with it then i wouldnt reccomend doing it at all.

I think most people dont tint their windows correctly due to the fact that they do not know the correct process to tint your windows. If you are trying to cut and place the sticky tint on your windows you have already gone wrong.

Lets just say a wet window with soap is your friend. Thats why tint shops say let your windows dry 7 or so days before rolling your windows down... The water needs to evaporate. A buddy of mine tints windows for a living and he came over to my house and tinted my old 1998 F-150 and after I saw how he did it I have tinted every window since.

Its a very easy process, you just need to know the key.
