How does this diamond plate look??

I've had this in the car since I've bought it (About 5 years now).. I never actually heard anything about it.. Negitive or positive??

Is it ricey? I thought it was original, that's why I stuck it in there. It was in my 97 Cavalier on the fold down back seat so I thought I'd throw it in the Camaro after I bought it.

What'd'ya think?? I actually almost forgot it was back there.

It doesn't look like it's in there for any good reason. I think it'd look better back there without it. I guess it's just that you don't have anything else back there shining like that. I dunno.

Agreed, looks like it belongs in a truck!

I actually like it alot. I saw it in your car about a year ago and almost made one for my car. if you dont want it sell it to me.

My SS came with hooks like that, I've never figured out why. Came from SLP with them and we've had the car since new (original owners).

I don't like the diamond plate personally. I've never liked Camaros with truck sounding exhaust either (don't know if that applies to you or not, so sorry if it does). You don't find owners of too many other sports cars saying to themselves "you know what? My sports car needs to remind me more of a truck."

On the other hand... an El Camaro gets instant praise from me... because that's just hardcore.

Those tie downs are for hooking up a child seat! They became mandatory in all cars sometime around ~2000 .

^ Yeah.. I'm trying to sell the box.. As far as the hooks, I remember them in my buddy's 91 Formula, he had his protective blanket for the t tops strapped to em. I allways thought that's what they were for, but we have top holders, so I never found a use for them..

I'm pulling the box out soon, I was going to do it today. I may just pull the DP out along w/ the hooks to shave some more weight off the car. Along w/ whatever else is under the carpet that I didn't yank out before.
