How do you take the door handles off?

How do you take the door handles off?

The black paint on them isn't shiny anymore, i need to have them repainted black, but i don't know how they come off.

4th gen? I think you have to take the door panel off from the inside and get em out that way. I've done it on a 3rd gen. It's NOT easy on those
