I want to remove the lense. Not the entire mirror assembly.

Do u just pry it out? Is the lense held in by tape or glue???

Help would be much appreciated

 

You should be able to pivot the mirror enough to take the three screws that hold it to the adjustment assembly on the inside of the mirror. This way you dont have to take it off the car. However, if i remember correctly the cables that adjust the mirror, are set into the plastic peice on the back of the mirror, making it next to impossible to remove just the lense and get it back together and have it still work as it should.

However, you can remove the triangular peice on the inside of the door, 2 screws, and than the 3 screws holding the mirror to the car and then remove the justs of the mirror after unplugging it.
