Cut a piece of fishing line, pull it tight, and drag it behind the emblem... it will cut through the tape, and the badge will come off... leaving just a little clean up to get the tape residue off.

I hate trying it like that. I always think I'm gonna snap it in half

I saw this guy at a used car dealership pull of the Z28 decals to repaint them black (the previous owner had them all puke yellow ). Anyways, you could tell he didn't give a damn and just peeled em off from one corner in about two seconds. The emblem bent as he was doing it, it looked pretty flexible. Anyways, if you're going to just peel it'd be a good idea to park the car in the sun for a little while so you can heat it up.

The reason why he did it that way is because They were never going to be put back on the car. hes looking for a nice set of chrome ones.

I've always just started at a corner and peeled them off... carefully. No problems yet. I even have a picture of me removing an emblem
