How do I fit Corvette (04 z06) engine covers on my 02 SS?

How do I fit Corvette (04 z06) engine covers on my 02 SS?
My buddy gave me these covers, i thought they'd just fit right on, but doesnt seem so, too many wires and hoses in there getting in the way.
I searched but didnt find anything.
Any thoughts or ideas?

The drivers side needs a healthy chunk taken out of the rear and the passenger side needs to be notched for the dipstick. I put them on my car. There are templates and pics of ones already converted to look at.
