Why?

 

if it aint stock it must be rice, especially when it comes to lights , i love my blacklights under my dash

 

I only consider neons rice if you have so many colors in there it looks like the lucky charms leprechaun <sp?> should be driving it.

and I do have a neon in my car and plan on getting some more...

 

I don't understand the point of them, unless they are on a show car.

 

I have Blue Neons in my back hatch to enhance my subwoofer and AMP setup, Also the Subs themself have a clear DHD logo in teh middle that light up everytime it pounds. I think it matches my blue faced pioneer Active matrix cd/mp3/xm sat reciever and my indiglo white faced gauges. Next I want Blue neons under my car.

I really don't understand why you would want to put neon lights on a nice f-body. To me it's rice. Can someone please tell me what neon lights do for your car? Hey, if you like it go for it. It's your car, but just don't feel bad when people start laughing at you for some apperent reason.

 

EAch person is entitle to their oppinion. YOu ahve yours and I have mine. I think its about time us F-body owners stop being such "stick in A$$" people and embrace the Apperance mod Craze. Ricers are putting big ole turbos on and seriously making some HP.....That is OUR game, but they are invading. So lets invade their turf. Ricers are all about Show and not too many of them can " GO." Lets show them what its like when we are all show AND all go! ...maybe you old guys on here dont understand.

I have 2 blue neon tubes under the drivers and passenger dash with a switch in the ash tray to turn them on. The reason, I got silver reverse gauges and at night they are blue. I figured why not use my ash tray, I dont smoke so there was no need for it. I've only gotten good responses out of people when they see it.

 

i think they look like crap on the inside, they just highlight all the dirt inside, besides looking tacted on. and under the car? what's the point?, i can see using them in a speaker box or something like that but other than that what is the big thrill?

 

Sooo, because some of you just don't think it looks good it has to be rice. That's pretty lame. This whole "rice" thing here is really ridiculous. GET OVER IT PEOPLE!!! If you don't like it, so what!! This place would be a lot cooler if all the people that yell rice at everything would just put a sock in it! This is the APPEARANCE section! If you think appearance is rice, stick to the tech forums and leave the people with some vision alone.

The best advice to anyone here is, do what you want. It's not an attempt to please everyone else anyway, do what you think looks good and be happy!

I think it's just the blown out of perportion "Rice" term..

I use to have one.. It's been replaced by LEDs... a LOT brighter..

And I've been called Rice.. for just having the one... In the Nostrels of my WS6... That erked me...
