LOL!!! I dont get mad about stuff like this. I get offended by someone callin me a liar (would'nt you?). I gave that brief history as just a reference. I love racing, we all do, but I dont go around talking trash to other people on this site. It aint that serious, this is'nt what the thread was about. I'm guessing that you two brought your baggage online with you. I "care" about facts, not opinion. Lets get back to the business of hooking up cars, Dont flame if you cant put the fire out!!!!

I'll still line up with any factory GT stang for $100 per light LOL

Ya cant knock the lil V6, I beat GT stangs, period!!! Thats just how it is. Happy now?

Do you beat the '99+ GT's as well?

I'll say this one more time and I'll give an example. Even if the new GT's spun off the line, he would catch a V6 camaro before 50 or 60 mph. And I have a 94 A4 Z28 with a few minor mods and I can barely beat a new GT mustang so what you are saying is that you can hang with me? In that case, let me sell that V8 terd and go buy me a V6 beast, right? Dude you can wine and b*tch all you want about facts and "talk the talk" but until you have video, your word is as good as your out house. I'm not putting down a V6 but don't say it can hand a GT its @$$ because that makes the V8s look pathetic. I feel confident a 2002 or 2003 GT and a 94-96 Z28 are about the exact same in the 1/8. So if you can geat a GT, then you are faster then 9.3 or 9.4 in the 1/8th. Can you do better then a 9.3 in the 1/8th in your V6? If so what mods do you have? And I have enough V6 people around my town saying they beat V8's left and right but after a few proven facts, I prove them wrong as I've done you. And this isn't a flame, its called proof.

i can see a V-6 camaro beating a 95 mustang Gt espically with driver error. If you all read up on cars 1/4 mile times you will see why. A 95 camaro V-6(3800) runs about 15.7 in the quarter. And a 95 Mustang Gt runs Low 15's. Besides the 93 year the 95 was the second slowest year for mustang in a while. Hell the 95 probe Gt was as fast a 95 mustang Gt. I know I had one. Now I did'nt see them say and i know that a V-6 could not beat a 99 gt because they are pretty quick. Here is a link I found. Some of the times are a little off but most of them are accurate. Just do a search on 1/4 mile times on your home page and compare. Look at the 95 V-6 mustang. 17.5, now that is a turd

I'm not doubting he could take out the '98 and earlier GT's. But I don't think he's "toasting" them or anything.

Like I said before, I have a '96 GT convertible, and although it's not as fast as my 340 RWHP Camaro, it's not as slow as people describe them to be either...

Either way, it's winter out where I am and I won't drive my cars until April!!!

Hehe

Yes I can beat em, Can I blow em outta the water? NO!!! To Oynx, let me teach you something since you know nothing!!!

First of all where's your car? Both of my Camaro's are posted
http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/stangkilla1 - 86 Z-28
http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/stangkilla2 -2000 Camaro

Second read page two of my 86 page then see who does this and who's just talkin!!

third I know how to "feel" the pedal. You have to know how to drive your own car to win. If a GT lines up with me at a light and looses traction, I hook because of the V6 does'nt have that much torque and automatically get a 1 car legnth. And if I keep up a good RPM climb (steady throttle) and then go to the floor (letting my second passing gear kick in) in maybe 3rd gear I'll keep the lead until about 100-110 mph. Now thats just in regular drive!!! If I go down to 3rd or 2nd gear and shift up, your in for a big surprise from the V6. I know where my shift points are for all of my cars, and they're all auto's!!! On the highway starting at about 70-80 mph I can still hold the lead on a GT until I wind out at 125mph. My passing gear still kicks in at 90mph!! I race stangs on a regular basis and won another race monday (will be posted soon) against a black 00-02 Gt stang. he stayed on my door but could not pass to save his life, but I know just like he did that when we got up to 120-130 mph it was over for me. Stangs are some of the best races I get in. I love racin them, but the fact still remains. I dont lose to stangs in either of my cars.

Fourth and final thought: The concern seems to be on my 2000 V6 but I just bought it in August and have already broken it in (my way). And have more than a few races under my belt already. But...... I have two other cars!!! My 86 Z-28 is what I was "KILLING" stangs with for the past few years, and it's just parked until I finish with the interior. My Z was built for 1/4 mile and all parts were ordered new from either Summitt or Jegs. There is nothing factory in the motor, Nothing!!!! My trans is built for 350-500 horsepower (B&M, not stock chevy 350 or 700-R4). And finally my 99 Honda Accord V-tec 6 is simply the fastest import I've owned. I dont even race stangs in that, after I took an SVT two times at two lights I knew they were'nt in that league.

People with no cars to show or no experience to back up their talk should stay silent. Especially when I post my races with full detail and can remember almost every race I've been in since i started. "YOU" have to prove to me that your not BS-ing. By your statements I see that some of you are still on your first cars, and probably only race on the weekends or sum. I was racing before I was able to get a California "learners" liscence. "Fast and Furious" was movie to you but it was'nt real!!!! I live it homeboy!!! If ya live in GA, Give me a call (770)224-6712 and I'll be glad to send you home broke, because for money I'll pull the honda out and settle this lil childish bull****.

Get off the stang issue cause I race alot more than just POS stangs Ok? Ask me how I beat a 3000GT turbo or a BMW Z3 or the new 2003 Lexus coupe (400SC or sum)
Yea, ignorance is bliss, but haters are contagious

Holla
