Hids... Where to find kit for 93-97
If you want to keep the "stock sealed beam" look (not just a set of high price fog lights), you can get some real glass conversions that use #9005 and #9006 from here: http://www.autooptiks.com/convmat.html
Scroll down to the bottom, it's 2 of each of the following:
#4351 Low Beam on 4351/4352 Mini-quad
#4352 High Beam on 4351/4352 Mini-quad
And just get some:

http://www.brightheadlights-hid.com/hid-9005.htm
Expensive as *****, but I'm sure you can find a better deal if you look for it.. (gonna be over $800 for all 4 bulbs)
If the HID price get's you down, Silver Stars are the best you can get for regular joe dollars:

Sorry about the mis-info on the silver stars.. I still have the old sealed beams..
Those stock replacment glass casing conversion's take 9005 bulbs for the high beams and 9006 bulbs for the low beams.. I'm not sure about the difference in "projection" between the 9005 and 6, or the socket pattern for that matter, but there are 2 different casings. The "plug-n-play" kits should work, but you would need a 9005 and 9006 kit... (i believe(get a second opnion))
Be sure to get more info and quality assurance from the company before you go and buy anything I mention. I'm a big idiot and blow off about things I'm not fimilar with.. I just love to puke back the info I believe I've honstly obtained..

just kididng...

Just a FYI,
do a search on "Autooptiks" their kit totally sucks.

You would be better off with a Hella 90mm HID conversion, or if you want the stock look, go with Hella FF75 housings and a H7 HID conversion.
Pics of the Hella FF75 setup are in my sig

If you want to go cheap just buy some brighter bulbs and silicone them into the stock housing, thats what I did it works good. If you get a good bulb like Paul said it will be a big difference over stock. Also my fog lights help me out a lot. I want to do the Hella/HID conversion someday though but mainly just to have the HID look so its not a priority. I honestly can't complain about the brightness of my setup right now it lights up the road great.
If you want hids and not bulbs I would go for the kit Tbyrne sells
H4351 stage I 1993-'97 Camaro stage I $679.99
H4351 stage II 1993-'97 Camaro stage II $829.99

I am leaning toward hids.. because if i dont buy some HIDs then im going to buy nitrous... so im trying to buy a bunch of stereo and looks stuff before nitrous.. car already puts 380 to the ground so im trying to curve the power adding addiction right now.
Its ok Vomit god... you know more than me about the HIDs ..
pu12en12g i tried clicking on the link but the page doesnt show up.. all i get is the title carsound and audio domain thing at the top.. nothing else shows up afterward..
If the hellas are squarish stockish looking HIDs then i'll probably go with theres..
Can u send me the link to their website. I tried a search but didnt get it.
Why are Tbyrnes so expensive? Even though i wanna blow my money on something.. i'd rather blow 400 bucks on a low beam hid set up and have the other 300 for an MP3 player or something
Thanks for the feed back guys

I didn't read every word of all the posts - but these guys probably said all I would say about HID's anyhow...
But Paul, I have to disagree with the Silverstar comment. I tried them before converting and I thought they were quite a bit better than stock - if nothing else they were the same output with a LOT better color. I do agree that you will get more with a 100+w bulb (Clear or not heavily tinted) and a bit of harness upgrading - but the Silverstars are by no means IMO less than stock.
Also - AutoOptiks suck!
I WISH I HAD TIME TO FINISH THE LIGHTING SITE!!!!!!!!

They use multiple layers to filter and refract light, so if you went with the stock replacement Silverstars you are actually getting less illumination. Any bulb which filters light out may LOOK brighter, but the light output is less than stock unless you increase the wattage.
Even with a Krypton / Xenon gas combo, you need to up the wattage.
Zdriver96 - Try the link again.
The Tbrynes are expensive because the come with exact stock size housings so it would look like stock during the day then when you turn em on look Hid like BMW's, where is hella are driving lights That looks pretty sweet but, are not real HID
I put in the Silverstars earlier this year. They change the color but I found that the light on the road was LESS. Diffusion was a bit of a problem.
I tried some 80w Nokya arctic whites (claimed "Stage II", higher K rating). The additional watts helped make it brighter but the color kind of annoyed me.
There is no help for me.
I will have to just get real HIDs...sooner or later.
