no, no hassel at all, windshield u get hasseled for, that ones fine.

An idea I had been toying with is getting the actual HID projector houseing and figuring a way of modifying a set of Halo lenses. The halo is about the right size for the projector. It would be low beam only, but might work well. Just a thought, unless someone has managed it already.

that sounds like a good idea, i would ever try it but the concern in that is $$$$, i would do it or try it if i had the money. My whole conversion to hid cost me about $250 and thats with sealed beam conversion. Projectors or halo's cost around there alone if not more, then you have to by HID's.

That's cool. I think using the actual halo/angel eyes lights would look better. But that is very similar to what I was thinking about doing.

Well, if you do go for a kit for your LS1 make sure the igniter is built into the ballast and that they're weather/waterproof. You'll spend $200+ for it.
