HELP: Wheels

Hello. I want to know if 17x9.5's wrapped in 275/40-17 rubber will stick out from the sides of my car like a "Mexican ride"?

You may have some rubber showing in the curves, but I seriously doubt you'll have the Oh-so-appealing 3D affect you are referring to, lol.

15x8s and 26x11.50 ET streets don't stick out beyond attractive on my ride.

Whether they will stick out depends totally on the "offset" of the wheels. I have seen offsets as small as 38mm, and that puts the tires very close to being out from under the fenders. I believe the Torque Thrust II's are 45mm.... in about 1/4" from the edgeof the fender.

Here is a 17x9.5 wheel with 56mm offset (front only)

Here is a wheel with a 49mm offset (front and back)
