buddy of mine is offering to sell me his OEM vette wheels.

y2k thin spoke, polished 17 front 18 rear, with brand new rear tires (275's), and one good front tire. $500 cash.

i saw the rims, they are like-new, no scratches or dents, he bought z06 wheels instead.

also.......after doing some searching......im still confused whether i will need adapters or not.

Get them they will fit. You will need to hammer flat part of the inner wheel well on the rear to make them fit. I paid 700 for mine but they had no rear tires but good fronts. Too bad the 18 inch tires cost the most.

 

Heh, I got 4 18" C5 wheels. I was lucky and all four rims had brand new rubber on them. But I'm not looking forward to when I have to buy new tires.

I got four 18" C5 rims for $375 with air pressure sensors. They came with pretty much brand new Michelin Pilot MXX3 295/35/18 and 265/35/18s. And the wheels themselves are in amazing shape. You just have to be at the right place at the right time.

 

went by and paid for them yesterday.....should have them put on by this weekend
