Help me decide...
my z is red with black stripes, original color is ppm so I'm going back to stock but leaving the stripes. what i can't decide on is whether to leave the stripes on the roof or go back to black... the wife wants to leave the stripes, but I'm trying to picture both in my head.

thanks for the input... shoulda put this up first but here's ppm (thx to ls1tech)... doing all the prep and paint myself and I will be going over the solid black stripes with the same stock black as used on my '89 Beretta GTU - black with about 4 different colored flakes which you really can't tell unless you're up close but just want a one off going
this one's obviously correct for the Z

Hmmm, my vote would be black roof, black stripes on the front bumper, hood, spoiler, and under the spoiler as well. All '94 Z28s had black roofs, so I think this keeps from breaking the rules , plus it would look better.
Do you know what stripe design you're going to go with?

as long as your "halo"((b?)C pillar) is black, then your roof should be.
the deisgn of the stripes can vary, so, you might say original z28 style on hood and trunk only, but that could translate to reaching all the way down the lower chin spoiler sections, more of a racing style.
i really fdont think a dull color as that needs black to make it look good.
