I painted all the panels in my black with plasti-cote vinal spray. Today i was ready to reinstall them in the car but i decided to but some wax on them b/c I heard it would add better protection. BUT.....now it looks like crap, is there anyway to strip the way with out destroying the paint. I'm gonna add another coat of vinal spray and clear to make them perfect again but i'm afraid of removing the way and if I do it may destroy the paint all ready on the panels. HELP

Maybe with some dish soap... I hear that that is a great way to strip wax from anything... and I dont think it would hurt your fresh paint, but dont quote me on that.

 

I would not paint over the wax... you are asking for trouble there IMO.

 

that was my fear, i'm going to try the dishsoap tommorow. Hopefully that will help then it will wear off with time

use dawn dishwashing soap. it destroys wax and grease along with armorall and other protective coatings. it is safe for the paint as well (just dont leave it there for long)
