Hella Fog lamps

Picked up a set of Optilux 4 inch Fog lamps, been looking online, haven't found much. But just making sure, the red wire is hot and the green is ground correct? I only have two wires, no led ring. So I imagine red would mean power, unless it was the color blind guys day to wire at hella. When I looked on line, I saw the green being used also as a power wire, which wouldnt make sense to have a red ground

usually the fog lights will ground to the body any all you need is a power wire. I would think that green would be ground and red is hott.

I want to retain my factory on/off switch, so I plan work these in to the factory fog lamp harness.
