LT1 Camaros can go here and makes their hood functional, but i am sure many ppl know this...

I don't have the MBA inserts in my hood, but I do have similar screen's custom installed (prior to the MBA product release)..
Note that these are hardly "real "extractors"".. (wrong direction to "extract" the heat while moving)
I'm not sure about how the venting works when the car is in motion, but when stationary with the fan's off, they sure as hell vent heat!
Sooner or later I would like to convert my front end to 98+ and get a Mecham 4 port extractor hood.. I've herd mixed opnions on Mecham hoods, but I like the looks.. And functionality...

damn expensive for the hood grills..... a couple years back i actually saw a kit to make the stock hood functional ram air... had an airbox with 2 filters ....it was a wierd set up but lost where it was..... hmmm
I would go to slponline.com and get the firehawk hood. It has ram-air and functional heat-extractors. I have one and it is one sweet hood, you'll get a few more ponies out of it not to mention the awesome look.

Some of their hoods can come with heat extractors. Right now it is an option, so it is a little more money. They are at teh rear of the hood, almost like a cowl hood. I am pretty dure these are functional.
Hope that helps.
