Heat extractor hood options 93-97 lt1?

I love the look of the 4 port heat extractor hood for the 98-02 models. I can not find anything functional/remotely similar to it for the 93-97 models. Does anyone have good suggestions as to a company that carries something similar. And any thoughts?

You can make your own heat extractors out of the stock vents, they just unbolt from underneath the hood. From there just unclip the black insert, cut or dremel out the openings, sand down/finish any rough areas, primer and paint, then insert mesh of your choice behind the opening. Canbaufo is almost finished with his and I am currently in the midst of this project. You pretty much keep the stock look of your hood, but you convert your vents into some sweet-looking functional stock heat extractors.

I bought a vfn 4in ram air hood and had a buddy of mine put heat extractors in it like the mecham hoods. It took awhile but came out great

The only extractor style I remember was a company who put vents on an SS style hood- I couldn't find the exact style but it was similar to the side vents on this one...just with the SS style scoop.

That one is pretty sweet. Who makes it?

How about installing your own louvers on your existing hood? Save a couple bucks, maybe-

With those you could make it look somewhat similar to the old Iroc hoods.
