Tried them - they suck.

Search this section for AutoOptiks.

I guess it depends on the person, as well as the bulbs themselves. I haven't had a problem with the AutoOptiks 4351 kit. At first, when I used the "fakey" bulbs, that are simply a blue tint over a 55 or 80 watt bulb (Hyper Brand anyone?), I was very disappointed, and the output was probably worse than stock. But after those quickly burned out and I found some quality bulbs on ebay that used real Xenon Gas, and Quartz Glass, without tinted lenses, it really improved things with my AutoOptiks kit.

I believe these bulbs bear the name XD5, and if you search for "XD5 9006" on ebay, you'll find the seller globalpremier with these bulbs.

After almost 2 years, one of mine finally burned out, so I am replacing them with their new line of bulbs "GP Thunder" which are 8500K light intensity vs the old XD5's that were 5800K.

If you use bulbs with real Xenon Gas, and Quartz glass, the AutoOptiks kits work great. I would never buy any of the bulbs they sell on the AutoOptiks site because most are worthless.

As soon as I get the new bulbs installed, I'll take some pics and post some night shots.

Autooptiks is junk.

We have a autooptiks thread about once a month, and 24 / 7 / 365.... autooptiks is STILL JUNK.

They are garbage, You can get the same things cheaper from auto optiks them selves, This guy is selling em on ebay and will tell you they are a different brand etc... Paying more for the same thing....

Stay away from that stuff
