Headlight Blackouts

Is there any brand of headlight blackouts that do not have the ugly mounting kit? The light housing really looks ugly when the covers are not on. What do you guys think on this? I would like to see some front light housings with the mount kit and the covers off if possible to see if there are some decent ones. Cars look good with the covers, but bad with them off and the mount kit.

OPINIONS?

All of the kits have the ugly mounting tabs. I agree, it looks bad when the covers are off, but they own when they're on. I had them on my black 88 Camaro, and it completed the car SO WELL

You think they are ugly now, beware if you ever decide you don't want headlight covers anymore. I got the mounts off ok, adhesive and all, but the surface underneath was totally scratched and faded.

Not trying to talk you out of anything, just wanted to let you know what may happen if you take the mounts off someday.

I took mine off once about 2 years ago and they were fine. Granted, I got the car painted that day, so I really didn't get a good chance to look at them either. Also, I must add that I never drive my car at night, so keeping the covers on could pose a problem while driving at night. I'm going on 2 driving seasons without removing my covers.

LOL, that might have something to do w/ it!!!!!!

As far as driving at night, it's not too bad w/ the highbeams on. And I also have it rigged up so my foglights stay on w/ the highbeams.

Yeah, I tried that too. But I had covers on my fogs lamps also. Now the fog lamps are removed. Fun stuff.
