I'll COPY this over to the Appearance Section. It seems many of our resident lighting experts hang out over there more than here

If you want to run brighter bulbs you have 2 choices...either pull the bulbs out of the stock headlights, install new ones, and run the risk of breaking the headlight OR buy new headlight assemblies (hella 90mm or hella ff75 seem to be the most popular right now).

Or you can get autooptiks replacement headlights that let you change the bulb (looks stock)

He just said you run the risk - the stock headlights on 93-97 Camaro's are known to crack every so, and the housings have crappy reflecting qualities anyhow. I would think that Pontiac's would be in a totally different ballgame, since they have a totally different setup.

Please don't do that - they are worse BYFAR than the stock housings. That does sound like what you are looking for in your post - but I would strongly not suggest it.

If you want to keep your stock housings, and keep everything the way it is without spending much - just check this website out.

I agree. Just a waste of $$. I was also a know-better and bought autooptiks housings... Needless to say, they are collecting dust in my garage right now. They are truly WORSE than the stock lights. I would HIGHLY recommend changing housings as they are the problem, there's nothing wrong with the bulbs, the reflector in the stock housing is just a POS!

If you are willing to change from the stock look, check out the Hella 90mm conversion I have done (link in sig)
