having trouble with seat removal...electrical connector stuck

im removing the seats from my 95 T/A and forgot about the electrical connectors as i lifted up the seat.. needless to say it didn't go very far

so i reach under the pass seat (i'm doing this one first since its harder to get out of the car in the garage) and i disconnected the air hose but i can't get the stupid electrical connector disconnected... it's got one of those little tabs on it that looks like it has to be pressed down and slid under another piece while at the same time squeezing the 2 ends and i cannot get the damn thibng out... any suggestions? i really don't want to cut wires and have to reqwire it later

you have to remove that orange retainer clip first. Its the plastic piece that goes around all the wires and into the back of the clip. Then you can press down the black plastic tab and it with slide free.
