Has anyone removed the side markers on a Z28?
Has anyone removed the sidemolding on a Z28?
My coworker owns a 2000 Trans Am WS6 and he's going to be removing that piece of plastic that runs the length of the car from the fender to the rear. He planted a seed in my head and I'm thinking about doing it as well. Has anyone done this? Anyone have pictures of it on a black camaro and what's the best way to get these things off? Thanks!

If I remember right all you have to do is unscrew a screw in the sidemarker and then just take a screwdriver inside the little notch and pry the sidemarker out, and if you want to take it all the way out just disconnect the light bulb and you're done. I have pictures of clear side markers in the sig, but it's a red car.
I used a blow drier and a little WD40 to get my emblems and residual sticky stuff of of my Z when I put the '69 vintage Z/28 emblems on it. It took longer to run/rewind the extension cord than the actual removal time. A little WD40 on a paper towel and I was down to clean paint. Nothin' to it
Mine were turning pink (red car)
I just pried up the front corner and ripped both sides off, the sticky stuff on the back can be tough to get off, the thick tape that was left in spots i removed with my thumb and the goo i used car soap and water on a rag. there is still a body line that runs down the side of the car, I think it gave it a cleaner look.
