How'd it work out for you?

Well, it looks awesome and I've got lots of compliments (only had it done for about a week). I painted the lug nut covers too but the paint seems to scratch off of them easy. I'm getting some black molded plastic ones from Pep Boys (waiting for most of them to come in). I knicked the wheel in a couple of places and the paint came off the wheel too. Is it supposed to do that? Well anyway, I got some touch-up paint and fixed that. Thanks for the help again!

I think I may have been the first to do this with the Y2k Vette wheels.

Cool guys!

Yeah! I just got the lug covers from SLP. I haven't had any problems with the paint "coming off" or chipping from the wheels. Maybe it's just a small problem with adhesion or grease (fingerprints) under the paint .

Thanks for letting me know, You are the first of all of the persons I gave the "directions" to that actually said they did it. It's kind of nice having it done and not paying all of that money and more so being unique

Excellent!!!

Let me know how it turns out (please). Also contact me if you've got any questions. I'll be more than happy to help, if I can.

It would be great if you posted the directions or had someone like Brent Store the info for you on his site.. But I will accept an email with the directions when you have the time to send them to me.

Thanks,

Aaron

Yo Max,

Just take your wheels to where James said to go. Unless you painting your stock wheels, I wouldn't try it on the Vette wheels you got.
