I think I may have been the first to do this with the Y2k Vette wheels.

Yeah! I just got the lug covers from SLP. I haven't had any problems with the paint "coming off" or chipping from the wheels. Maybe it's just a small problem with adhesion or grease (fingerprints) under the paint

Thanks for letting me know, You are the first of all of the persons I gave the "directions" to that actually said they did it. It's kind of nice having it done and not paying all of that money and more so being unique

Thanks for all your help guys, and I have figured out which way I am going to go. I am taking the instructions TK 14 SS sent me, and going to put them to good use. Thanks Troy!!!
It would be great if you posted the directions or had someone like Brent Store the info for you on his site.. But I will accept an email with the directions when you have the time to send them to me.

Just take your wheels to where James said to go. Unless you painting your stock wheels, I wouldn't try it on the Vette wheels you got.
