Has anyone painted their wheels??

I have a '97 SS with the stock 5 spoke ZR-1 wheels on it, and the thought has stuck me that the Corvette GS type wheels (same as ZR-1 but gloss black) would look good on the car for track use. Has anyone painted these wheels and wants to let me in on how to do it? Thanks in advance for any help! Jamie

I'm not speaking from experience, so I'm just guessing here.

You'd probably have to take them to a professional paint shop and have them prep and paint the wheel.

I've spraypainted my stock salad shooters a few times (I took off their clear coat cleaning them, so break dust stuck to them and wouldn't come off, so they looked bad anyway). I tried black once, I didn't care for the look.

If anyone has any GS wheels on their car, you might want to see if they'll put one on your car just to see how it looks.

Can I see the pic of your wheels powdercoated? I wanna get my wheels widened, but the shop said they can't match my M5 wheels color, so I figure I will just get them painted another color. I want the rears to be 11inches.
