In a couple of days I'm going to trade in my trans am for a s10 zr2 (need an all year car for college), and I want to put a sunroof into it before the winter. Does anybody know where I can buy one of those kits (I've heard about them)? Also, does anybody have any tips for me?

 

you can usually buy the kits for sunroofs at most autoglass places, or they can put one in for you. at least the ones around here can. call around

 

get the factory glass from a yard w/ all the goodies (inc headliner buttons harness etc........) aftermarket sunroofs usually look like and are crap.

However- have you ever thought about a canvas slider? saw stacy david install one on a fullsize Pickup on TRUCKS! Go on his website and see if you can track down where he got the kit from- I recall it not being that expensive because there is no glass
....Would be unique and offer alot more 'open air' feel
