Re: Halo headlights??

Where did you get the halo lights from? Maybe the problem is with the wiring to the halo led, not your part? The bulbs going out has me completely stumped, because they should be completely independent of the halos.

Yeah i got them off e-bay from XRTeam racing. It took me 4 weeks to get these cuz the ones i won were defective and the factory sent me these ones. I would assume they tested it before it was shipped to make sure it had no further defects? Here is the auction when i bought it.

Here is the kind of end cap i used on the end of the wires.

I got a feeling i am SOL if anything happens to the Headlights.

Its raining out now but on my next sunny day which prob wont be until sunday i am going to try and solder them and if that still produces the same effect then i know its the headlights and not my car.

The light bulbs didnt go out but they just started to smoke and were burning away the blue resin inside the bulb. When i disconnected the wire taps and turned the headlights on again everything was fine. I dont really want to do anymore tests incase i blow a relay some where.

Would there be a way to test the LED itself? Like i dont know how i would test it though. Since i really dont have a protable power source for me to connect the 2 wires too.
