Hi, I recieved one of them indiglo overlay guages for my 95 camaro Z-28 for a b-day gift, and my speedometer only registers at 110. Now I done everything to my car upgradeable wise to make it like a Z rated car, but what I didn't do was replace the dash piece to the 150. Could I switch that out from a 110 to 150 w/o any problems or will i have to do someother upgrades as well?

 

I think I remember reading that the speedo will remain accurate but you RPM's will be off somewhat. You may wanna search the V6 board cuz a lot of those guys have swapped out their 110 speedo for a 150. I think they either had to reprogram something or install some little gear in the tranny....not sure.

 

The tach should stay the same but the speedo will be off.

 

I know it's been sometime since i've been here, but i've read that the hyper-tech programmer 3 can redo your speedometer. Can I do that with these guages or not?
