Do they alter the color of the lights? I live in Tucson, AZ. There's no city law regulating them and the state law only requires the lights to flash in certain color ranges; white to amber for the headlights, amber to red for the taillights. It also requires them to be visible from 1500 feet away, or just over a 1/4 mile.

Also, I read in another post that the GTS logo can be scratched off pretty easily. Is this true?

yup, the GTS logos are just stickers. With headlight covers, your lighting will be HORRIBLE!!! I have the "carbon fiber-look" ones from GTS, and I have serious issues seeing at night. I would highly suggest upgrading to 100watt headlight bulbs at the same time that you put on the covers. You'll know what I'm saying after the first time you drive your car at night with the covers on.

 

Only problem with upgrading to the higher watt bulbs with the covers on is that you run a chance of warping the covers due to extreme heat. Atleast that's what I've had issues with.

 

I had them on my car, look at my cardomain and you'll see some pics of them. I took them off though because of visibility issues and I got tired of them.
