It depends how much space you have between your tire and wheel well. If it's a large gap, lower the car, small gap, throw on the ground effects.

Re: ground effects or lowering

its a 95 and its red, not sure how that effects ground effects vs lowering, i know my 275s rubbed on the inside a little bit before i made some extra room, and now that im going to 295s for daily driving lowering it may cause some more issues but im sure i could make it fit, it has plenty of room above the tire though so i think it might be alright, ill decide eventually, im just stuck right now

you can see pics of it when it was on, it was never painted and i only had it on for a few weeks when i blew my engine all to pieces, i took it off because it was to hard to get on a lift with them on, but thats what it looked like unpainted, and also i decided those headlight covers are terrible

Re: ground effects or lowering

Iv'e got the Vizages ground effects on my 93. I haven't lowered it any, and I've got 17x9 inch wheels with 275/40's and I don't have any problems. Well, I've got to be careful about speedbumps and what not, but that's just a good habit to be in anyway.

Well, it matters to me because I only like that kit on brighter colored vehicles and I like it a little better on the LT1 style cars.. So I say throw the kit on since you've got a red '95.

Re: ground effects or lowering

Well, GFX tend to get damaged by curbs when parking, and lowered cars tend to damage their exhaust pipes, exhaust tips, and air dams on speed bumps. Personally I think lowered is better.

Re: ground effects or lowering

If you can only do one or the other then I prefer lowering over ground effects. I'd rather have a low stance lookng car than a car with ground effects and wheel gap

Re: ground effects or lowering

haha im gonna stay outta this one, i fought myself over the same thoing and never decided, but if u toss the gdfx lemme know, from those pics im wandering how some black gdfx would look with my current theme (granted ive mentioned this once before and would follow the same pattern mold as much as possible and run the black up another 1-2" on the body).. now no stealing my idea lol
