this past weekend i got my intake manifold gasket, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gasket changed and while the intake manfiold was off i decided to change its appearance via a good cleaning, a coat of primer, a coat of gloss black engine paint, and a coat of clear

nice, try some simple green for the tough stuff.

 

i think we used some regular autozone grade engine degreaser to clean the intake manifold but yeah some SG might have done better

 

oh btw, my engine sure has come a long way from this
