Got the rk sport dash kit!

pics: http://docashdds.com/z28/real%20carb...er%20interior/

The moulded kit...so the kit now costs $595...but there's a catch. They send you the stuff moulded to shape just like the parts, but they aren't actually replacement parts, you apply the carbon fiber to your existing parts yourself. BUT it is not like the cheap overlay sticker looking stuff this is REAL CF. From the pics of mine you can see that it looks great. Enjoy

Looks good, but I definitely think $600 could be better spent elsewhere, personally.

Looks really good, but like everyone said, $600?? I'm thinking of having all my interior trim painted. My car is navy blue, black interior, and I'm doing all my suspension mods and calipers red. Any color suggestions?? I was thinking maybe white??

Def. do not paint your interior. It's super tacky!

Do what you want with your car. Painting the interior doesn't look tacky. I did mine a year ago and I get compliments on it all the time. It makes a change from the bland stock interior. Unless you go crazy and paint everything and then it may start to look a little overwhelming.

the only semi-decent painted interior I have seen is one that was painted by a body shop to match the exterior color and clearcoated. All the other stuff just looks like ***

Yeah a custom interior is one of those things where u either love it or hate it. Mine is white for show season, but the rest of the year I leave it stock. It looks stunning. See sig for pics.

But if you are into keeping a low profile, then DON'T DO IT because people will be coming up to you all the time asking where you had it done etc.. etc..

I think one thing that looks tacky is when only small pieces are painted... like the door handles or something. If you are gonna do it, I think it looks better to go all out.
Some of the interior accents I have seen that look good are:

-Silver
-White
-or Color matched to the car

Also, I find that when u start combining blue neons with red or other color accents on your interior, it starts to really look tacky. But that's just my opinion.

the $200 kit is the CHEAP one that isn't moulded its fake carbon fiber overlays. Goto page 4 of the interior parts. It is the moulded carbon fiber kit with no picture for $595.

I couldnt disagree more. I love my painted interior, but the pictures in my sig dont give it any justice whatsoever. I had my paint matched to my exterior and clear coated, and it was all done by yours truly.
