gold camaro

pulled into wall mart yesterday right next to a 98-02 gold V6.
had lots of pinstriping graphics (teal black and i think red) the rear camaro letters were filled with black fading to teal.
it was hardtop A4
just curious to see if this is a factory car, looked pretty much stock and un-modded

A guy down the street from me has a gold V6. I like the way it looks for some odd reason...I have yet to see the gold color in Z28 or SS form however.

yeah the gold was a factory color, I've only seen a few V6's though with that color. Same with that really light blue color, very few on the roads.

There's a gold z28 around here in the area. I believe they were available in that color for only 1 year. The first time I saw it in gold was actually back in 98 when the LS1 came out.... to think of it that was the first camaro LS1 I had seen around here, then I saw all these different ones but no more gold ones. I don't think it looks bad.

I'm pretty sure it was a 99 color only the reason you saw it in 98
is because cars come out a year before the year they are
97 is when 98's came out, 99's came out in 98 and so on

I've also seen a few gold camaros around. They were both Z28s and were both at the same lot too. This was about 3 years ago too. The dealer was selling them for a awesome price too.

MY friend has a 98 TA WS6 auto. I think the colour is the same Aztec Gold as the Vettes of the same year.
