Going to Paint The Berger Panel

So I decided I'm going to paint my berger panel, but I need some opinions.

Should I paint it a flat black, like the original berger panels, or should I paint it more of a glossy black to match the roof and mirrors?

Right now I think I'm going to go with Krylon Semi Gloss Black. I've heard of people just cleaning it real well and this painting working fine. But I would like to hear what others have to say.

I have had both on my car, the first one I got off of here it was from a black car someone was parting out, its cheap and easy to do it this way. The second one I got was when I gave the glossy black one to my mom, and took the silver panel off her car and painted it flat black. I believe there are pictures of both on my cardomain

I would personally prefer flat black, but either way, I suggest giving some consideration to the rear emblems. The "Z28" emelbms are black so they would not stand out very much. I recall people putting on maybe a chrome "Z28" emelem or even putting the "Camaro" inserts in the letters. Either way, I think they look better when they have some contrast.

What color is your car?

My car is red and I was thinking of possibly just taking all the badges off for the time being and replacing them with some Chrome Ones in the future. I'm going to order Red C-A-M-A-R-O lettering for the back.

I have a red 96 z. I have done both ways. I had the flat black panel with red camaro letters. and the high gloss panel with Chrome camaro letters. I liked both ways.

Got the panel off and scuffed down. Going to spray it tomorrow. I'm going to try Rust-Oleum Semi Gloss.

I should have some pictures of mine up later today.

That Camaro looks great though.

Edit-Here's the pictures. I'll post more after I get the red CAMARO letters. Sorry the pictures suck, you gotta love cell phone cameras.
