Because you cant get satin black in vinyl. Matte has a premium cost, beyond just regular 7 year premium gloss black, so if you go the matte route, expect to pay more.

Why would anyone even concider flat black, IMO? Looks unfinished. I cant even stand to see the early 4th gen headlight buckets in flat black. I vote for gloss.

Medium Patriot Red has a tendency to look really dirty unless it is extremely clean, so I'd go with glossy. As you can probably imagine, your car might end up looking like a junkyard beater with flat black stripes if you didn't wash it for a month. (Don't mean that as an insult, it's just true of the color, dirt shows up on it bad). I'd have your racoon eye headlight areas painted glossy black to match the roof and mirrors too if you want to go the extra mile and make it even better .

I wash it atleast every other week if not every week, and the headlight buckets are flat black.

I know, I forgot it when I took those first pics because I was trying to bet the rain heading in. Then the new picks of it with the new paint I just took real fast because people wanted to see what it looked like with the fresh paint on it.

I think Im going with Flat black because everyone on both local boards here who have seen my car before with the glossy stripes say flat would look better and I feel the same way. Because the glossy stripes I had before were kinda like ghost stripes you had to almost be at the right angle to see them most of the time.
