Hey guys, so I am going to install my new 4" Glasstek cowl on my 94 z28 tomorrow...only problem is that I do not have all the hardware for it...I bought it used and all I have is the bolts for the hinges and struts...does anyone the size, length, and thread of the bolts that I need for the two latch components on the front? I would REALLY appreciate the help...thanks in advance!

 

Take a bolt out of your stock hood and match it up at the hardware store. Thats what i did on my Glastek hood.

 

Thanks for the reply, although I had already tried the stock bolts and they were DEF not correct. I called Glasstek and got the correct bolts - 1/4-18 and 5/16-20 i believe, although the pitch may be reverses, I cant remember which was which. Both sizes 3/4" length.

 

Pitch is reversed. 1/4-20 and 5/16-18. We wanna see pics when you get it on. My 95 had a 4" Glasstek! I loved it!!

 

Haha, thats why I said I might have reversed them, couldnt remember hood is on, but Im having fitment issues I have to work out at some point...its my car not the hood, as the PO had no issues and I have seen pics of it on his car
