Getting New leather seat covers...Need color help!
Hello All,
Well, I am just about to order replacement leather seat covers for my 98 Camaro. The seats I have now are white, and way too hard to maintain and are in need for replacement. I was at leatherseats.com and I really cannot figure out what shade of gray my interior is! (I’m colorblind! I can’t see shades and hues to well!)
I believe charcoal gray is the one, but I was thinking of going just a shade darker, meanwhile, having the seat two-toned with a silver to compliment the silver Corvette C-5 rims I have. Should I do silver or should I still use white with the two toned combo since my car is white? (I now hate white interiors!!!)
Thx!
Suggestions of what color combo might look good, please shoot them at me!

I also have a Arctic white 2000 Camaro. I was looking at the same site for mine. I think I'm going with the white and gray inserts and the same for the back. As long as the outside is white it should'nt be hard to maintain just keep plenty of leather protector on em, just do it when you wash and detail the car. I actually want my whole interior in white with silver accents. But the gray you want might be "slate gray", "mineral gray".

I bought from www.leatherseats.com and I am awaiting my order now (black and red leather). So far they have been great to deal with, they sent me the UPS tracking number and the guy I ordered from even emailed the pictures of my new covers before they shipped them. I don't know who your dealing with there but i delt with a guy named Jeremy his e-mail is jeremy@leatherseats.com he's a great guy to deal with, very helpful.

Seems to have good feedback. The only weird thing about his feedback is not all the items are coming up when you click on them.
Hmmm...

I just got my leatherseats covers from leatherseats.com 2 days ago and I installed them yesterday. I'll post some pics soon and i'm trying to make an install page for others who want to do the same thing. If you have any questions about installation just shoot me and email. They look great, black and red leather, no other 97 vert has that! (love the custom look)

Nope not at all, it just took time b/c i've never done anything like this before so i was careful. I did one seat at a time so if i forgot what something looked like I just back and double check the other one. Took me a few hours to do but I still have to do the door panels. I'm sure you can do it yourself and save some money.

Hey Mark,
I've been keeping tabs on your interior upgrade. I can't wait to see the pics! It should look pretty awsome.
I am going to do the same thing, but with different colors! I found a place here that will do the install for $250, but I might try the install myself since you are going to give some guidance.
The only problem I really have is the time element involved. I'll have to weigh the cost vs the time...
I'll be watching for your pics!!!

I'll definately post some tonight....i'm doing the door panels now. I'll help as best I can and I have a cellphone that is free any where in the country after 9 and you really get confused i'll talk you through it. The door panels are kinda hard...what i would suggest is see if you can get the door panels done profesionally and do the seats yourself. The seats will only take a few hours but the door panels seem more complicated.
