getting car repainted.. need some advise

Wrecked my car so im going to get it repainted...
need some advise of some things i should do to it i hate to put it back the same way.
What i got now is
wings west gfx
diamond clear corners
vfn 2" cowl
got everything painted red (headlight area and grill area, the roof part behind the t-tops, mirrors, doorhandles and keyholes)
two silver stripes from the front gfx to the back gfx
and some Cobra R wheels(eh dont bash me on that it actually looks good)

what i have in mind so far to doing is
96-97 SS spoiler
shavin the rear keyhole for the hatch
removing side trim
removing front emblem and filling that spot in
putting 69 Z28 emblems on the fenders
Will tint the side and rear glass eventually

Im up to ideas maybe even a color change
Electron blue with white stripes i think would look good also

I am thinking of changing my color to electron blue as well and I have always wanted a good estimate as to what that would cost if I was to do all of the prepping including removing what needs to be removed...

Prices sort of depend on the area and the amount of prep work that needs to be done. Go to a pretty reputable place...it'll be worth it usually.

You have a pretty good list of new goodies with the GFX and hood. I'd definitely go for the spoiler if you want one and any other shavings and molding you would like.

If I was in your position for a paint job, I think I'd shave the rear hatch keyhole and maybe even the door keyholes...since I honestly never use them. (Only problem would be if I ever needed to use the key if the remote died). But DEFINITELY I want to shave my antenna off...the thing is big and ugly and I don't know about just cutting it down.

Maybe mold the body kit on if you would like. I think that's about all you can do without going extremely custom on every minute detail.

As for colors...I love custom stuff that you don't see as much...but it will cost more.

When you shave the antenna do you just move in down inside the fender well? or do i have to get some kinda thingie to still get a signal?
if all i gotta do is move it down in the fender well then Im up for it i think its ugly too
i do wanna shave the hatch keyhole
Think im gonna keep the red w/ silver stripes though

Anyone have pics of Wings west gfx molded on? would like to see it on more then one car

anyone shaved the gas filler flap and moved the filler behind the drivers side tailight and made that fold out to put gas in?

I just finished the body work from shaving the fuel door with the fill behind the tailight. It came out really good and hopefully it will be pretty unique. I also shaved the antenna and the hatch keyhole as well as the CAMARO on the back. I am getting an antenna that will mount on the inside of the rear glass and won't be seen. I will be puting 69 emblems all the way around. I was going to paint it on Memorial Day but a freak thunderstorm here in TX axed that plan. I will be painting on 7/7 so I'll post pics when done.
