yeah, i was thinking about putting some in my vents, probably a Nitrous pressure, Air Fuel, and maybe Oil temp, tranny temp or something just so I can fill all the vents up. What size fits in good?

my friend with a TA did that, he has n20 pressure i think, it looks really cool, im not sure how it would turn out on a camaro, what year camaro are you talking about cause the 98-02 vents are diffrent, o yeah and he means like putting a gauge, inside the ac/heat vents, it looks really cool ill try to get a pic of what he did.

Yeah I did it to my Z. I glassed in the left upper vent and then made the hole for the guage. I put in a trans temp gauge when I put up my new stage II trans. I get looks from fellow Zers that like it. I also made an alum plate around the gauge that finishes off the look. I figured everyone does the post thing and since no real air comes from that one why not just pug it.

My next mod will be installing the scan master above the right hand side vent. I will make the piece in the same shape as the top of the vent so that the entire dash will have the same flow or look on both sides and the ac vent will remain in the same place.

Definitely 2-5/8" gauges required.

What does it look like (it's only a lowly Formula, not a T/A )?

AutoMeter Gauges in A/C Vents

Left to right.... fuel pressure (elect); nitrous pressure (mech); oil pressure (mech)

How to do it:

Gauge Install Writeup

Not one of my better writeups, but it might help.

thanks, thats a good setup. I might get Ultra Lite guages instead (they stand out a little more.) Instead of a oil pressure guage I was thinking about a Air/Fuel Ratio one (that is if I had nitrous)

I personally do not like the A/F ratio gauges.... they show you little, if anything. Just a psychedelic light show that gets a little tiring after a while. The factory O2 sensors are simply NOT accurate at anything beyond 14.7:1. And the gauges are seldom even calibrated. I've got a couple more gauges on the A-pillar, oil temp and tranny temp, but I don't see any purpose at all in the A/F gauges.
