Yeah, as far as painting the interior vinyl goes I just used a can of Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric. I have only had it done for 3 weeks, but I haven't had any problems as of yet.

Is it possible to put those LED's behind your air conditioning vents? And would it be possible to put these LED's in place of the reading lights on the rear view and the dome light?

You can put the LEDs into the vent, you just have to get it in there with the wiring and have it be out of sight. I don't know how it'd look, personally, but try it. As far as the reading lights, you have to custom fab it into place.

I replaced the bulbs in the door panel with LED's. I just drilled the stock bulb out of the holder and replaced with an LED and put the base in like the stock fits.

For the reading lights, you can order the wedge base replacement LED's from superbrightleds.com and you have a plug in replacement.

I think It would be super easy to install a light inside the vents but I see no reason for it. why do you want to draw attention to the vent holes? they aren't the coolest looking things anyway. but all you would ahve to do is run a 12 v source to somwhere wehre the vent ducts are and take off the top dash pad/cover for the dash, drill a few tiny holes that fit your led's and glue them in place so they protrude into the interior of the vent pipe leading to the vent hole.

Most do not put off enough light to be comparable to a halagon bulb...

There are a few that do, but they are NOT cheap, or easy to work with.

The LEDs are good for small spot lighting, and some general light bulb replacement, but not for all uses, especially something you want that's fairly bright.

I have a formula, and i had a question about the shifter LED's. Is that area normally lit up in everyone's cars or not. I know mine don't but have always wanted them to. I may just do this if they have never had any light there.

Thanks,

Aron

Yep your car lights up there

If you lift up the shifter plate there is a small bulb about as wide as this "O" and about two "O 's" tall it just twists in
